The company was founded in 1982 as Custom Embroidery & Punching, by Debbie Harris and Mike Sudnikovich, primarily as a contract embroiderer with several state of the art production embroidery machines.
Our first relationship was with a running shoe manufacturer as they started their apparel lines. CEP digitized the original NIKE embroidered logo. This account, other garment manufacturers we sewed for, and the referrals obtained from them, fueled our growth in the early years.
In 1986, we began marketing to corporate users offering complete decorated wearable packages including custom designed garments. Our goal was, "to make it simple to promote your company."
In 1998, we changed our name to Custom Embroidery and Promotions to reflect the scope of products and ideas we deliver to our customers. Ad specialties and promotional items had become an important part of our business in our desire to fulfill the needs of clients.
Our personalized way of doing business gives our customers the type of service they want. Our phones are answered by people during business hours.
